Welcome to Jayride. By using our mobile application, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Jayride is a ride-hailing platform that connects riders with drivers in Cebu, Philippines. We facilitate the connection but do not provide transportation services directly.

2. User Accounts

• You can use Jayride as a guest (phone number only) or create a registered account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

3. Riders

• You agree to be at the pickup location when the driver arrives
• You agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of booking
• Cancellation of a confirmed ride may apply in future updates

4. Drivers

• Drivers set their own rates per kilometer
• Drivers must have a valid driver's license and vehicle registration
• Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Jayride
• Drivers must maintain their vehicle in safe operating condition

5. Fares and Payment

• Fares are estimated based on distance and the driver's per-km rate
• A base fare of PHP 40 applies to all rides
• Payment is handled between the rider and driver directly

6. Ratings

Riders can rate drivers after completing a ride. Ratings help maintain quality of service. Abuse of the rating system may result in account suspension.

7. Prohibited Conduct

• Using the app for illegal purposes
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Creating fake accounts or bookings
• Manipulating fares or ratings

8. Limitation of Liability

Jayride is not liable for any damages arising from the use of our platform. We do not guarantee the availability of drivers or the quality of rides.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
